How to play & maths tips
Each mission includes four challenges from each skill: decimal names, comparing decimals, equivalent place-value amounts, digit values and trailing zeros. Type an answer and press Enter, or choose an answer button. After checking, read the explanation and press Next island.
A hundred grid is one whole split into 100 equal parts. Both grids always show the same-sized whole. A digit's value depends on its position. Zeros at the end of a decimal do not change its value: 0.4 = 0.40 = 0.400.
One answer is scored per stop. An incorrect answer reveals the maths so you can learn before continuing. There is no timer. Progress stores anonymously in this browser only; if storage is unavailable you can still play.
